Reshaping the Future with Secure, AI-ready Data Center Networks

Reshaping the Future with Secure, AI-ready Data Center Networks

In a closed-door session organized by CORE Media in association with COMnet & HPE Aruba — CIOs, CISOs, and digital leaders raised concerns on achieving unified visibility and automation across hybrid data centres.

Anoop Mathur, Founder, CORE Media Group, facilitated the discussion with Pradeep Shukla, Senior System Engineer, HPE Aruba; and Tejas Sheth, Service Delivery Head, COMnet, highlighting how to securely automate and leverage AI for datacenter networks to maximize performance and scale.

Key Session Takeaways: Digital Leaders’ Take

  1. Inter-server flow visibility: The challenge in mapping server-to-server communication with clarity and control is one of the biggest concerns. With HPE Aruba Fabric Composer, organizations finally gain clarity inside the data centre — seeing exactly which servers talk to which ports, what’s permitted or blocked, and how East-West traffic moves across the network.
  2. OT-IT integration: Few companies raised concern on not having operational technology (OT) switch solutions integrated into their security stack. HPE Aruba offers OT switches that communicate over Modbus and translate it into IT protocols, enabling full visibility into how the OT network interacts with the IT network. It helps to understand predictive intelligence, zero-trust security, and high-performance switching for AI-era workloads.
  3. Fault identification: To help network administrators visually detect issues including disconnected cables and automate troubleshooting, HPE Aruba is building Vision Language Models (VLM). It has developed use cases across verticals like healthcare, banking, hospitality, etc.
  4. Ransomeware attack: The discussion on safeguarding against DDoS from ransomeware attack concluded with HPE stating its integration of OpsRamp to provide multi-vendor visibility of third-party devices.
