Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Leadership Summit

Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Leadership Summit

In today's hyper-connected world, where data reigns supreme, cybersecurity is no longer an option, it's an imperative. As businesses increasingly rely on digital infrastructure, the attack surface for malicious actors expands, making robust cybersecurity defenses a cornerstone of resilience and trust.

From protecting sensitive information like financial records and customer data to ensuring operational continuity against cyberattacks, a strong cybersecurity system safeguards business reputation, fosters innovation, and builds trust with stakeholders. In a landscape where every click holds potential risk, prioritizing cybersecurity is not just a matter of compliance, it's a strategic investment in the future of enterprises.

Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Leadership Summit, in association with CORE Media, brought together a community of CXOs and thought leaders speaking about their cybersecurity initiatives, projects, and concerns. This unique forum offered access to cutting-edge research, expert speakers, and the Palo Alto Networks leadership.

Esteemed speaker Anil Valluri, MD & VP, India & SAARC, Palo Alto Networks extended a warm welcome, providing a glimpse into the exciting world of Palo Alto Networks. Shailesh Rao, President - Global GTM, Cloud & AI Security, Palo Alto Networks delivered a keynote on ‘Why Palo Alto Networks is Optimistic.’

Modern cyber-attacks are powered by automation tools and new-age technologies making it more challenging for organizations to provide security at every customer touchpoint. The increasing availability of different tools and platforms with robust features and security models is a great advantage for businesses looking for all-around security. The only obstacle in this arrangement is the multi-vendor management. From UIs, reporting mechanisms, costs, and licenses, to support and maintenance, everything is different and calls for constant monitoring. As a result, businesses are moving towards a consolidated security approach for lesser management and better visibility

Anoop Mathur, Founder, CORE Media, initiated the conversation with Orcun Tezel, VP Systems Engineering, JAPAC, Palo Alto Networks on ‘Building Unified Defenses: Consolidating Security in a Connected World.’ Joining them as co-hosts were Anup Purohit, Global CIO, Wipro;  Anubhav Rajput, CIO, PNB Housing Finance; Vishal Salvi, CISO & SVP, Infosys; and Sampath Manickam - Head IT Infra & Cloud & SVP, NSE.

Palo Alto Networks stood out by offering consolidated solutions that address sophisticated threats through automation and simplified management, overcoming challenges like complexity and talent gap through training and expertise. Key takeaways focused on mitigating consolidation challenges, measuring success through metrics like threat detection rates and incident response times, and ensuring adaptability through continuous updates and threat intelligence integration, ultimately leading to a resilient and future-proof security posture.

An enlightening conversation during ‘Leadership Lesson Session’ by Kris Srikkanth, Former Indian Cricket team captain and Chairman of the BCCI Selection Committee; Anil Valluri, MD & VP, India & SAARC, Palo Alto Networks; and Barun P Lala, Founder Director & CEO, Sportskedia was quite informative and insightful.
