CORE Media, in association with Google Cloud, hosted an exclusive closed-door discussion on 'How Organizations Are Leveraging Data & AI: From a System of Intelligence to a System of Action with Agents' in Bengaluru. The session was moderated by Sudhir Kamath, Country Director, CORE Media.
The discussion highlighted that enterprises are entering a new phase of AI adoption, where success depends not only on building intelligent models but also on enabling AI systems to take context-aware actions across business processes. Participants agreed that while many organisations have invested significantly in data platforms and generative AI initiatives, the next challenge lies in operationalising AI through trusted, autonomous agents that can collaborate across enterprise workflows.
A key theme was the importance of creating a strong data foundation. Leaders emphasised that agentic AI can only be as effective as the quality, accessibility, and governance of enterprise data. Modern organisations must therefore invest in unified data architectures, real-time visibility, and robust governance frameworks that ensure AI systems operate with trusted information while complying with evolving regulatory and security requirements.
The conversation also explored the growing role of observability in AI-driven enterprises. As AI agents become embedded within critical business operations, organisations require comprehensive visibility across applications, infrastructure, and data environments to monitor performance, detect anomalies, and maintain operational resilience. Participants noted that observability is becoming a strategic capability for ensuring AI systems remain reliable, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
Another significant area of discussion focused on governance and responsible AI adoption. Technology leaders agreed that scaling agentic AI demands clear accountability, explainable decision-making, and continuous monitoring throughout the AI lifecycle. Embedding governance into enterprise AI strategies will be essential to building stakeholder trust while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory expectations.
The session concluded with a consensus that the future of enterprise AI lies in moving beyond systems that simply generate intelligence towards platforms capable of driving intelligent action. Organisations that combine trusted data, robust governance, scalable observability, and AI-powered automation will be best positioned to accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes in the age of autonomous enterprises.
