Businesses accelerating digital transformation with the Cloud

We are witnessing the world embrace smart technology at a rapid pace and the adoption rate is advancing faster than anticipated. Cloud is no more an infrastructure choice for organizations; it’s at the core of enterprises’ digital transformation programs. Organizations are moving to the public cloud to innovate at scale, drive business agility, improve organizational productivity, and modernize customer experiences.

While every enterprise is striving to adopt a cloud-first strategy, it’s easier said than done - especially when it comes to moving mission-critical workloads like VMware environments. The need for extensive refactoring and reskilling along with the associated complexity often makes this cloud adoption a daunting process.

At the recent edition of ‘Digital Leaders Club’ curated by CORE Media and powered by Google Cloud India, CIOs, and digital leaders from diverse organizations across different industries and Google Cloud India executives discussed the various technological advancements in the sector and how to enable business transformation with Google Cloud.

Anoop Mathur, Founder - CORE Media, opened the conversation by talking about the need for a robust cloud infrastructure for every organization. Joining Mr. Mathur as a co-host in this discussion were Pradeep Vivekanandan & Rae Sabawi from Google Cloud. The key points highlighted by the CXOs and digital leaders attending the discussion were as follows:-

  • The hybrid multi-cloud model is the preferred choice for enterprises to achieve flexibility and efficiency. CIOs are looking for hyper-scale partners with the right skill sets to migrate their critical workloads and establish a cloud architecture for seamless integration.
  • Migrating the DR and data centre to Cloud is on the cards and CIOs are keen to leverage cloud-hosted data storage and smart analytics for better decision-making.
  • CIOs are keen to explore low-code and no-code platforms to accelerate their modernization plans and enable faster analytics capabilities.
