AI/ML, RPA, and Automation: Driving Businesses in the IT/ITES Sector to Success

IT and ITES verticals have significantly accelerated their digital journeys by leveraging the cloud, not only from a user and customer experience standpoint but also, to strategically identify new revenue models & routes, enhanced services, and scale up to meet the growing market needs. There is the prerequisite to maintain secured systems, ensure meeting regulatory & compliance policies, and deliver seamless services in a highly competitive environment, while continuously customizing and innovating.

At the recent edition of ‘Digital Leaders Club’ curated by CORE Media and powered by Google Cloud India, CIOs from the IT/ITES sector and Google Cloud India executives discussed CIOs and tech leaders, who shared how the cloud is enabling them in their digital transformation journey - whether it is to build applications & experiences faster, enable smarter decision-making, to connect & collaborate.

Anoop Mathur, Founder - CORE Media, opened the discussion by talking about how IT/ITES businesses are keen on doubling their productivity, adopting new-age technologies, and grow businesses with increased RoI. Joining Mr. Mathur as co-hosts in this discussion were Arun Ramamurthy and Rajat Pandit from Google Cloud. The key points highlighted by the CXOs and digital leaders from the IT/ITES sector attending the discussion were as follows:-

  • CIOs in the IT/ITES sector are evaluating Low-Code No-Code platforms to create customized digital applications and automate with AI and ML tools. CIOs and digital leaders are considering adopting these platforms to streamline their operations and reduce project timelines from months to weeks.
  • CIOs are looking to leverage the Cloud along with new technologies to derive more benefits that include – innovating on digital AI, IoT, Bots, and R&D to create use-cases for niche markets, resource efficiency with smarter analytics, etc. Robust endpoint security is another aspect that CIOs and Digital Leaders are raising concerns over. By adopting cloud services, they can leverage cloud-native technologies to avoid data breaches and data leakages.
  • IT and ITES organizations have accelerated their digital journey and they plan to partner with technology providers to develop transformative solutions around robotic process automation, cyber security, AI-powered analytics, data modeling, etc. for a digitally enabled future. Moreover, with advancements in the technology space occurring at a greater pace, CIOs and digital leaders are looking at these technologies as a way to provide better services and open newer revenue streams for their businesses.
