CareEdge Ratings has appointed Dr. A Shiju Rawther as Chief Information & Technology Officer.
This marks his second stint with the organization, bringing a deep understanding of CareEdge Ratings’ technology landscape and a strong vision for driving digital innovation and transformation.
Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at SBI Mutual Fund, Poonawalla Fincorp, IIFL, TransUnion CIBIL, Fullerton India Credit Company, PCS Technology, APM Terminals, Wipro, and Primus.ca.
Academically, Dr. Shiju holds a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Hindustan University, where he was awarded the University Best Researcher for 2024 for his work on securing networked systems against cyber-attack propagation. He holds a Master’s in Information Management, B.E. in Computer Science, and a PG Diploma in Cyber Laws & Cyber Forensics.
He is regarded as one of the most highly qualified technology professionals in the Indian capital markets industry. Dr. Shiju has published multiple research papers in reputed Scopus indexed international journals and holds three patents registered with the Indian Patent Office, reflecting his strong contributions to applied research and innovation in cybersecurity and technology.
